I remember making homemade suckers all the time when I was younger. We had a craft store we would buy sucker molds, sticks and flavoring oils from. I remember my sister, a friend and I would set up an assembly line making them and we would package them in saran wrap thinking we were going to hit it big with our sucker sales! We were probably lucky if we could get a parent or neighborhood kid to buy a few but I still cherish the fond memories.
I was excited to see a recipe for Caramel Apple Lollipops from Home Made Simple. They look very simple and do not require a mold. These are a favorite around here, especially at Halloween Time!! You can view their recipe HERE.
These would be so fun for a Halloween party, special treat or gift.
What a cool idea, I can't say I'd be great at making these but I'll bet they are DEE-licious :).
